Jason M. Sherman

Jason M. Sherman is Managing Director of Whyze Group, a customer experience innovation firm that serves executives of Fortune 500 companies.  Jason has 20 years of experience accelerating profitable innovation by synchronizing the values and beliefs of senior executives with those of their customers and prospects.

Jason’s areas of expertise are strategic planning, marketing research, customer relationship management, organizational learning, knowledge management, innovation management and customer experience design. He has consulted on a broad array of initiatives related to customer experience improvement, innovation, sales force effectiveness, advertising, customer communications, operational alignment and cost reduction.

Jason has worked with executives and managers of leading companies in the U.S., including Rubbermaid, Zales, Nationwide Insurance, Grainger, ING, Humana, Dominion Power, JM Family Enterprises, Key Bank and Wayne Farms. Most recently, he worked with executives at Rubbermaid to consolidate insights from two prior years’ studies, fill critical knowledge gaps and identify an optimal set of new product features. The company projects a $14 million annual increase in category sales resulting from this initiative.

Prior to creating Whyze Group, Jason was a Principal Consultant at eLoyalty, a CRM firm, where he developed new methods for creating management insight and led CRM engagements. As Director of Marketing Research at HomeBanc, Jason led the development of a sales force optimization product that resulted in HomeBanc increasing its annual mortgage originations by $3.5 billion within three years. Jason was also a manager at two research firms, Elrick & Lavidge, and Brittain Associates. He consulted on a variety of initiatives related to brand awareness and positioning, new product development, pricing and customer retention for business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies.

In addition to consulting, Jason delivers workshops at Fortune 500 companies and industry conferences. His articles have appeared in various print and online publications and he is editor of the online journal, Innovation Management Wisdom.

Jason holds a MBA from Hofstra University and B.S. from the State University of New York
