Sherman developed his approach over the last 15 years, as he held positions at various marketing research firms and consultancies. He left his most recent position as principal with eLoyalty, a CRM consultancy, to start the company. He was also director of marketing research for HomeBanc, a local $3.5 billion provider of home loans.
